Lindsey & Andrew are both hikers. So when they said they wanted to take their engagement pictures in Shenandoah National Park, we were so excited!! On an October evening we hiked to one of the most beautiful places in Shenandoah. The view was breathtaking!!! Even though it was very cold at the top, these two braved it out and were sooo cute with each other. Justin & Mimi had their engagement session in downtown Baltimore since their wedding was going to be in Baltimore. We had fun exploring the city with them. They were so fun to be around and photograph. We stop at the bar where they had their first date and took a few photos inside! We just photographed their wedding this past January and it was AH-mazing!! Can’t wait to blog about their wedding also! Anyways hope you enjoy looking at these photos! This engagement session was magical! why? because of this couple! :) When Tana told us that Travis owns a motorcycle and he wanted to bring it to the session. We were over the moon, we love when our couples are invested in their engagement session as much as we are! We decided to do the session in Shenandoah National Park ( Skyline drive). Having sessions at Shenandoah National Park is always fun and adventurous! This time we saw something soo cool, the clouds coming down to the mountains. We had to take a picture! Tana & Travis were so fun to photograph, you can feel the love between them. Can’t wait for their wedding! xoxo
Emily & Kristian engagement session was a blast! They were full of energy and excited for their session. We had their engagement session at the Battlefield at Chancellorsville, The entire area just has countless spots to photograph. It started to rain at the end of the session, and Emily and Kristian didn't mind at all. So we got shots of them in the rain and we were able to mimic the notebook scene...well almost lol Hope you enjoy these pictures as much as we do! :)
We had a beautiful engagement session at Kilgore Falls, Maryland. Although we have lived in MD for over 20+ years we haven't been here before! We were so excited to photograph Amber & Todd here! They were such a joy to photograph. They braved the cold weather and still had a smile on their face! :)
Stefani & Gary's engagement session at Shenandoah National Park, Virginia is what engagement session dreams are made of. We met up with this beautiful couple for their engagement session in the bitter cold of late January. However these two were so amazing and battled the cold to get these gorgeous images. They were ever so ready to take of their coats and strike a pose. We had the best time with them and cant wait to photograph their wedding this fall!
Shenandoah National Park honestly is one of our favorite locations to shoot at year round because of the amount of versatility and scenic views it offers. Alot cant make the trip but if you do, it is totally worth it. We love watching amazing sunsets with our amazing couples! :)
We met up with Katie & Zack last October for their fall engagement session in Meridian Hill Park Washington DC. Once we began to plan out their session, Katie asked if she could have a few photos of her & Zack and their sweet dog, in their then new home. We instantly lit up with excitement because just a few weeks before, Liz & I were talking about how we cant wait & wish to photograph an engagement session indoors. While their engagement session wasn't entirely indoors, the relaxed atmosphere definitely set the tone for the entire session, that it literally felt like we were photographing close friends of ours. We enjoyed photographing these two and cant wait to photograph their wedding this fall!
Amy and Jon's fun and exciting engagement session at Gibson Island, Maryland , has to be one of our favorite engagement sessions to date. Everything was just perfect that day. The couple was perfect, their chemistry was perfect, their outfit choices were perfect, the weather was perfect, the sun/sunset was perfect, and oh my goodness was Gibson Island the perfect location?! From the club house, to the hidden beach, to its woodsy area, which mind you werent more than a 6min drive from each other, were all just perfect. It Literally is one of the most beautiful and versatile engagement session location we have ever shot at!
